Terrain, located in Anthropologie at Bethesda Row, is always in bloom! For my forever flower girlies they’re featuring an absolutely gorgeous set of garlands and wreaths in their Garden Floral Tole Collection. Coming soon to Bethesda Row, luxury home textile retailer Boll & Branch will be opening their second store in the DMV this July! The warm weather (as well as July being National Ice Cream Month) is the perfect time to visit one of my favorites: Sarah’s Handmade Ice Cream! With locations in Wildwood and Fallsgrove shopping centers, this local DMV gem boasts over 40 flavors of ice cream including a delicious Lavender Honey ice cream. I love how well the subtle honey flavor pairs with the floral lavender. (Honey Lavender Double Scoop on a waffle cone- $8.50)
When visiting Pike and Rose and on the hunt for florals-I stopped by Scout and Molly’s for some inspo and was met with an incredible amount of tops, dresses, and shorts! Their unique boutique picks have something for every occasion in color coded sections for easy browsing, and are perfect to prep for a garden party, wedding, or beach vacation! Of course we can’t have a floral list without visiting NYC cafe chain: Maman! This spot has been decorating the corner of Bethesda lane in Bethesda Row since June 2022, and while I’ve stopped by countless times for pastries and coffee I finally stopped by to try their cocktails! They have seasonal sips including a Una Vodka x Floratorium collab drink: The Camellia-a refreshing citrus and floral cocktail with a fun camellia garnish. We also enjoyed a staple from their classic cocktails list: Miss M’s Elderflower Spritz. This sparkling wine and St. Germain cocktail was our favorite and came garnished with a delicate sprig of lavender. (The Camellia-$17, Miss M’s Elderflower Spritz-$14).
