WILL YOU BE MY GALENTINE?

Valentine’s Day is just two weeks away, and I’ve rounded up the best gifts for the number one loves of your life–your gal pals! No matter your budget, you’re bound to please the lovely ladies in your life with these finds.

Whether you opt to pick up a couple of treats from Georgetown Cupcake or spoil your friends with chocolates from Balducci’s, you can never go wrong with a decadent dessert. Don’t forget to grab a cute card for each lady, too! The Paper Source has an incredible collection of both witty and sentimental adult-friendly greetings.

This year, I’m a big fan of shopping for items that will add a cheerful touch to your friend’s work from home station. The “pants required/pants optional” to-do list from Red Orchard couldn’t be more fitting, and the same goes for the heart-shaped stress ball at South Moon Under. Punchy lip glosses from bluemercury will keep her looking stylish on Zoom. And because we’re all washing our hands a bit more these days, treat your leading lady with a grapefruit-scented bar soap from Indigo Octopus.

$20 and Under

If you have a bit more cash to spare, we love the idea of presenting your gal pal with a coffee table book that reflects her interests. Amazon Books boasts a number of bestselling titles; Elizabeth Holmes’ new release all about royal style is definitely our top pick and a favorite among women of all ages.

If you’re shopping for a cocktail lover, why not pair a fun drink mix with an adorable glass that will make her at-home happy hour feel a bit more festive? Seagrass vessels are on-trend and feminine; grab one from Indigo Octopus and place it in a gift bag alongside a mixer from Balducci’s for a simple yet thoughtful gift.

$30 and Under

If your budget allows you to spend a bit extra, why not spring for something that your pal can enjoy every day? We like the idea of gifting a special piece of jewelry, like a choker from Indigo Octopus, or picking up something practical for the home, like this delicious-smelling room spray from Red Orchard or a cheeky candle (South Moon Under sells a variety of cute designs). No matter which piece you choose, your recipient will think of you every time she reaches for it!
